A look inside Trenton Fire Department Engine 2's former quarters before being closed by the city a few years back

If I remember the inside right... where you were or just behind you was a LOWER section of floor that had a single bay that opened to a side street. The station is still there - it was part of TEMS (Trenton EMS) before merging with the FD and also the Trenton PD used the building as a sub station. IF you could look out the bays now - you are facing the Home of the TRENTON DEVILS!

You got it !!!! Here is where the Calamity Jane GMC Civil Defense Rescue Truck used to be parked. Engine 2's KME was OOS during this visit so alot of it's equipment was being stored in the spot where the Rescue used to be. A classic east coast firehouse !!!

Truckman... I think Marc (CrossBronx) added in one of the NJ threads. I have a copy but very poor... It was the typical CD white and blue rescue truck.

I grew up in Wanaque, Passaic County. Wanaque FD has 2 companies, one on each end of town. I was a member of Company #1 from 1987 to 2007. Here is the Co. #1 firehouse, in the Midvale section of town. It was built in the early 1900's and houses Engine 541 and Engine 542. It's a tight firehouse, to say the least.

This is Co #2 firehouse, in the Haskell section of town. This house was built in the 1950's. A new addition was put on just recently to house Tower 543, a Smeal 100' mid-mount tower. The original bay houses Engine 544, Rescue 545, and the department parade truck, a 1953 Ahrens-Fox pumper.
