These were taken at the beginning of September at the viewing/funeral for my father-in-law, Thomas Bitto. He was Captain at L.19 -- Haz-Mat 1 at the time of his passing from Colon Cancer. Served 32 years on the job, and was with HazMat 1 for most of the time that I knew him (over 11 years). I don't have specs on the apparatus...only the pics that were taken outside the church...so if anyone knows more, please fill in the details. Love to see more Philly stuff.[/quote] Back when those pictures were taken, E60/L19 and HM1 were located at 3031 Grays Ferry Ave, in West Philly, formerly Engine 47's quarters, which was disbanded. E47 has been re-established at 3031 Grays Ferry Ave since, when E60/L19 moved back to S Philly.
