Unfortunately the lowest bidder wins. We can't chose the manufacturer. I haven't heard much more on the bids. I'll find out more when i get back to the firehouse

One good thing is Ferrara's already built a round of Rescues for FDNY, as well as Ladders. So they now have some experience with the department, so they will most likely use that direct, hands on experience to improve on the new generations of the product.
