I do not know any past history of the rig or of Hawaii or Maui FD. My following post is of Maui FD Rescue 10 currently in service. I will post more island rigs shortly.

Karl: During 2010 I visited Maui in hopes of photographing their IH-Marion squad. The Deputy Chief their told me that rig went to scrap once the new squad that Keith posted was placed into service. According to some old Marion records the Maui squad had serial number 42063. In 2005 while visiting Kauai I saw their IH Marion squad in quarters but was unable to get a shot of this rig. If you wouldn't mind posting your image of Maui Squad 10 that would be most appreciated.

Here is Maui Rescue 10. I think I shot this in or about 1990/91. Much before my time of knowing how to photograph apparatus and using a Kodak disc camera.
I don't have any information on this rig such as VIN or shop numbers so I can't help you compare there. It's also a possibility that they ordered several of these for the various islands.
