SlipperySam's Fire & EMS Apparatus Photos - Guest - 09-23-2013 Pre piped, cannot be pinned. Also has a 2 1/2" outlet to be used as a "flying standpipe". The trucks currently on order will be identical with the exception the waterway can be pinned. SlipperySam's Fire & EMS Apparatus Photos - Juice - 09-25-2013 Quote:Pre piped, cannot be pinned. I'm by no means a "truckie" in fact, the closest I've got to one is a 75' Quint, which I've never worked off of (neighboring department) If you don't mind, what do you mean by "pinned"? Are you referring to being exposed under the ladder? Trav! SlipperySam's Fire & EMS Apparatus Photos - chief60 - 09-25-2013 Pinned allows the pipe to remain at the end of the 3rd section instead of the end of the aerial. It allows for the aerial to be used in "rescue" mode as some call it. Basically, it allows to ladder to be placed closer to the roof or window without the nozzle and waterway being in the way. SlipperySam's Fire & EMS Apparatus Photos - willman940 - 09-26-2013 Wait a second here, someone ordered an aerial with a prepiped waterway that cannot be pinned?
