Today, Bedford Fire Department Engine 1 was involved in a roll-over accident while responding to a fire. Four members were on board, all of which were transported to the hospital, one by air.

See more information on my website: VAFireNews.com - Four Members Injured as Bedford Fire Engine Overturns.

Here's a quick photo I grabbed of her back in 2008...

Hope all the FF are ok. Is the engine totaled?

Virginia apparatus - miscellaneous - Roto-Ray - 12-01-2012

Tim, I hear that the injuries are serious, but non-life-threatening.

As for the engine, I've left a message with their Chief, who I've known for some time, but I don't expect to hear anything back from him for a couple of days. I'm sure he has his hands full.

Praying that the brothers have a speedy recovery. Judging by the photos, the Seagrave held up well.
