Keystone State Relics - OPEN CAB MACK - 03-27-2009
I believe you are correct; when I went to shoot it I got the "it came from down in Maryland" story...

It was replaced around 2005 with a new Pierce.

The other Seagrave was replaced in the late 90s with a E\-One commercial cab, which was a demonstrator. Unfortunately they now have an all white with an orange stripe color scheme <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Huh' /> except for their tanker, a Ford C with a short square tank.
The Seagrave was donated to a department down south.

Ed,

The info I have was that it went to Big Rock, TN in Stewart County.

Nice shot there Don from Pittsburgh Inter.

I have most of their current stuff as of last july. But since this is the "relics" thread I won't post them and get blasted again.

That Pittsburgh International Airport rig is great. One of a few that I don't have a slide of. I have an older ALF that is the same set up, I believe it is a 1953.
George G. McMurtry FD, Vandergrift #1

1952 Seagrave 70' Ladder

In service until 1987

This photo was believed taken just after delivery in 1952.

This was the original drab green (Called McMurtry Brown by Seagrave) paint scheme which featured the lettering on the hood and a great looking monogram on the doors.

Keystone State Relics - Guest - 03-27-2009

here is a photo of it taken after the paint scheme was changed in the mid 60's to "Goldenrod Brown"

The monogram was lost from all the apparatus...

The Oklahoma GMC did end up at the pechin's auction she had some rust issues on the passenger side of the body but other than that could have went right back into service, Unfortunately from what they know it ended up at a scrap yard.
