A friend of mine at the "Rock" told me this. Not sure how true this is.

It makes sense. You get use to driving a certain style of rig and it is hard to switch. I know I could put our cab over Mack on a dime and had issues driving the long nosed Freightliner.

Here is an older picture and a test for the guys with the stats...Picture taken at Lancaster Fire Expo when it was still held at Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, probably about 1989 or so, Seagrave had this rearmount on display prior to delivery or lettering. Any idea where it was assigned?

I want to say this was one of the first of the contract. I think it went to Ladder 24.
Was this also the year of the Bonfire at the Campsite???
