Their chief indicates that they're changing their operations and didn't need or have the ability to operate two tenders. The older Pierce is a true pumper tanker, so they kept it. Their heavy rescue was also sold, and a used Pierce Quantum with a 60 (ish) foot boom is coming from Brindlee.
