Due to the large number of apparatus, a second mobile mechanic is created. Fleet Unit 2 is a 2009 Mercedes Sprinter. Credits to Deviantart.

In 2010 the department purchases its first dedicated command unit. Money is provided for its purchase by the group of chemical and petrochemical facilities located in the city, with the assumption that the command truck will be used for incidents at any of these facilities.

A new company is organized in 2010, and runs the second squad company in the department. Squad 10 runs as a rescue pumper, and is placed in service to deal with the growing number of vehicle accidents that are now occurring due to the huge population growth, along with the increased traffic flows, and to take some of the pressure off Engine 10 with its large call volume.
