Keystone State Relics - Guest - 06-24-2009 Great pics, Scott and you're right on about the state of the country. Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-24-2009 Lebanon County Parade this past weekend (June 20th) I spotted this unique home built hose wagon, Keystone H&L Fire Department Myerstown PA The hose comes off like a lazy Susan, and they are conected from reel to reel (between layers) I say, neet! Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-24-2009 Lebanon County Parade this past weekend (June 20th) Keystone H&L Fire Department Myerstown PA Keystone State Relics - LarimerSta1 - 06-25-2009
Lebanon County Parade this past weekend (June 20th) Keystone H&L Fire Department Myerstown PA
Frank, any truth to the rumor they are disposing of this rig? I would love to shoot it before it leaves. Thanks for the pic! Not sure if Kenco did it or not. Info I have says that it was refurbed by KME. Keystone State Relics - OPEN CAB MACK - 06-25-2009
Info I have says that it was refurbed by KME.
Dave, you are probably right. KME built No. 6's air truck, No. 5's Engine and rescue. Kenco refurbed No.1's Pioneer engine back in 88 or 89, and built No.3's vent truck. The work on Engine 6 had to be after 1989. I went to college at St, Vincent, and No. 6 was at the school on the first alarm. The boxing gloves were removed when it was repainted. I'm pretty sure they still do but not 100% sure. Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-25-2009 87th annual Lebanon county Parade was short because of the rain. about an hour long, a member of Schaefferstown FD told me many more rigs were registered (by mail?) than showed up. Schaefferstown's 100th Anniversary Ford C FMC- from Schaefferstown FD Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-25-2009 Schaefferstown Ford C Tanker Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-25-2009 Not quite a Classic, this KME tanker was custom designed by the members of Schaefferstown High side compartments, very large tank dump valves and large water tank make this fire department on wheels a truely unique rig! Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-25-2009 One very nice Mack E from Myerstown caught my attention! Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-25-2009 Avon FD has this Hammerly that I did not know about. Last time I checked they had two Hahn's See the white rectangle on the rear compartment door, this is a Hammerly decal made out of Scotchlight. It has Westmoreland County Station No. 117. Currently the engine is a CF Mack that was from Fox Chapel, and an in house tanker. They were posted earlier on this thread. I belonged when going to school there graduating in 1989. The engine when I was there was a 1957 American LaFrance 800 series. Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-25-2009 Howe IH engine from ALCOA (The origional image was a lot clearer) <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 06-25-2009 Another Maxck E, Richland PA Did I mention it was raining? note cloudy spot in center of image? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Keystone State Relics - EngineMan - 06-25-2009
Yes they do.
