Even if it is a Pierce. Ha ha. Good luck with her. This & That from Here & There - Andrew2340 - 07-07-2008 The Neversail 3!!! Very nice Dave, can't wait to come shoot it one day!!! Will it still be based out of Station 2? This & That from Here & There - GA_Dave - 07-07-2008 That's "Neversail III". It will respond from Station 1 with a crew of three. The Squad is O.O.S. due to staffing. This & That from Here & There - jim kay - 07-08-2008 Nice stuff Dave and good shot of the Neversail III, I guess it will being seeing a little work in East Point now.... LOL BTW did you ever get any good pics of the Johns Creek Engines and Ladders ??? This & That from Here & There - GA_Dave - 07-09-2008 Quote:BTW did you ever get any good pics of the Johns Creek Engines and Ladders ??? Not yet. Here's College Park's newest: Air 1, College Park, GA 2008 Chevy C-5500/LifeStar #RS-132 This rig has a 4-tank cascade with a booster pump capable of filling 42 cylinders, plus racks to carry 25 spare cylinders. The fill station is able to fill two cylinders at a time. There are seven 750 watt floodlights and a cord reel powered by a Harrison 10 Kw. hydraulic generator. Air 1 will also serve as our rehab unit, complete with awnings on each side, Kore-Kooler chairs and a misting fan. This & That from Here & There - GA_Dave - 07-09-2008 Just doing a test comparison. The first shot of T-1 was scanned from a negative, this one is from a print. Great shots as always Dave. Really like the new Truck 1! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> This & That from Here & There - GA_Dave - 07-10-2008 Quote:The Negative shot is better on my monitor. While I think the colors on the negative shot are much richer, the photo is darker. The scan from the print is more true to the actual conditions at the time the shot was taken. As Drew mentioned, Pierce already has Truck 1 up on their website. LifeStar also has Air 1 on theirs. I just sent them in last night! They are not even up on CPFD's website yet! For those that have been following events at CPFD, the new Rescue 2, a First Response box remounted on a new Dodge 3500 chassis, has been delivered. It should enter service in about a week. Using a good photoshop program can adjust the color for both and it would be hard to tell. I had some that were in slide format and worked them on my photoshop program and it really works wonders on them. Any how, all yours are GREAT! Keep posting them anyway you can, we can adjust our eyes to them!! This & That from Here & There - GA_Dave - 08-05-2008 Last week, my buddy Dan Decher (soon to be a Firepics member) was in Georgia. We spent Monday in Alabama.
