These 4 new Williamson County units are at the dealer in San Antonio for "make ready". Not sure on the actual delivery time for these units.

As John has photofraphed above (thanks always for the head up!), Williamson County EMS has begun accepting delivery of these 2009 Ford F-350/Wheeled Coach Type I's. This is one of two delivered yesterday, and two more will be delivered on Monday. All these units, as well as future units, will carry the new paint scheme.

Another shot of one of the new Williamson County Wheeled Coaches. As mentioned, the chevrons are non-reflective.

Thanks for the heads up, and to JA too!

Ninjamedic, do you know what this lift is all about? Only one of the seven had them.

Texas Emergency Medical Servies - AMBULANCE34 - 05-30-2009

If seen a few ambulances around Massachusetts, typically private services w/ similar lifts, used for extremely obese (bariatric) patients. More comfortable, secure feeling for the patient when they are being lifted, and alot safer for EMS/FD crews as opposed to wrestling all that weight into a bus.

Texas Emergency Medical Servies - Guest - 05-30-2009

They also use the Mac lifts for neonatal calls too, it lifts the isolette that is mounted onto a cot frame. they get very heavy and usually exceed 400 lbs fully equipped.. It has a pullout portion that folds out and they you can lower it and use it. Not sure what the capacity is however.

this is the company that makes them, www.macslift.com. click on the ambulance lift and there are pdf's on the right side of the screen.

Good find!

I had heard a rumor we were getting a bari unit but it kinda died just as fast as I heard it. If i had to guess I would say it is a bariatric unit note the movement of the second shoreline attachment. If i find Out more I will let you know. Also be on the lookout for 2 F450s in our livery later this year if those rumors hold up <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Banghead' />
