I am actually embarassed to post this shot, but here's Barkhamsted East (CT) Engine 1 - the fire police won't let me any closer and I had the zoom on my Sony maxed out. There's a slightly better photo on their website which is listed below.

Sandisfield, MA Engine 2 - not sure on the year, but it went out of service around the time I was taking my EMT class over there in 1993. Photos from SFD "files".

I have a few shots I can contribute to the thread. This first one, I'm not really sure about its original home, but I believe it's from Sylva, NC. It last served as "3353" with Mtn. Valley F&R just over the mountain from Sylva, and now sits out behind MVFR's station. They lovingly call the old gal "Slimer."

Here's another relic that I'm unsure about. I recieved a PM from a FirePixer a while back telling me about a Pioneer that was sold to NC second-handed. This truck was originally chrome yellow and I couldn't make out the original lettering on it. It's now owned by the Burger Shak restaurant in Sylva, NC. The guy that owns it has done an amazing refurb job on it! If anyone can tell me more about her, please do!

And lastly, here's a sad end for a proud rig. This rig is now in a junkyard near my house. I hate to see it in this condition.

Andrew, this rig started out in Sylva, NC with the fire department. I remember taking pics of it years ago when I was in college. My ex-g/f at the time lived up that way. At that time it was sitting on the side of the road just outside of downtown. I don't know what I did with the pics of it, but that is definitely it.

Thanks Nic! Now that I remember, while I was searching thru the ALF from Mountain Valley, I found "Town of Sylva" asset # stickers in the cab. Did Sylva run two ALF Pioneers then?

And if you can find that pic, definitely post it!!!! Thanks!
