Ambulances - Guest - 03-21-2007 Secondly one of the Rapid Responder Vehicles situated around Metropolitan Sydney. Ambulances - Guest - 03-21-2007 Now for some of the St John's Ambulances ... A state wide non emergency ambulance service for events etc... Ambulances - Guest - 03-21-2007 Another Rapid Responder Vehicle. Ambulances - Guest - 03-21-2007 life line emergency on Freightliner chasis Ambulances - Citywide 231 - 03-22-2007 The truck Action has is a box, the infamous 107. It is unusual becuase it has a single rear door opposed to doubles. I wish I had a pic but I don't. Ambulances - Guest - 03-22-2007 Didn't a lot of the box ambulances in the Seattle area at one time also have a single door on the back? I know I saw pitures of a rig like that somewhere, and I'm almost sure it was from the Seattle area. [/quote hey ed i dont think the 107 is a demers it 's something else but i cant find any mfg info on the darn thing Ambulances - Guest - 03-22-2007 [quote name='Rescue131' post='89676' date='Mar 22 2007, 08:29 ']Didn't a lot of the box ambulances in the Seattle area at one time also have a single door on the back? Ambulances - Guest - 03-22-2007 if you guys are talking about the hatchback type rear doors it was crestline coach from saskatoon. they made a large number of them for the ontario ministry of health, it was a great concept but just never took off. i personally worked in them and the only think i didn't like was the large rear window that let nosey people look in. Ambulances - Guest - 03-22-2007 The company I used to work for had one, made by Medico. Probably the worst design for a rear door I have ever seen. Ambulances - Guest - 03-22-2007 The front of above-mentioned POS ambulance, right before she was put out of her misery. Ambulances - Pete(UK) - 03-22-2007 Thought I might add a few, but I am afraid I dont take notes. Ambulances - Pete(UK) - 03-22-2007 A few more from my travels. Ambulances - Guest - 03-22-2007 <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/shrug.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I know this is the strangest ambo in my collection and all I know about it is that is from the 50's at Bowie,MD. It looks like an early VW...??? Collection of Warren Jenkins. Ambulances - Pete(UK) - 03-22-2007 I have many more. |
