May 22nd.  A real nice looking piece.

I would figure it will be heading down there soon.  Is the other one gone yet?  If so where to?

It was sold to the Conover, NC FD in May 2012.

Thanks! Oh so you captured it pretty much when it arrived at Atlantic. Received word yesterday that it will be home Saturday!

Got this oddball the other day at AES. Owned by a local retired Baltimore County Firefighter.

This one will be making the rounds at all of the local parades!

Blue Ridge Summit replaced the above with a Demo 2011 Pierce Dash CF PUC 1500-500-20 and its designated as Rescue Engine 4

A buddy of mine did some work on the engine ( inspection, and some maintenance work ) at his repair shop in Sharpsburg.

Hey it maybe old but all we do when a motor goes up is put a new one in under the hood and it is ready to go. It maybe slow on the road but once it gets off the road it can go any wheres that these newel nicer looking brush trucks won't go. When we first got it it was slim green (which was not a UBFC standard color) which u can see under some of the painted red scratches. But hey we got it from Army surplus back in the late 70's early 80's and she is still going strong. I know they since I am a member are not in any future buying a new brush truck. I know we are looking into buying a new Engine/tanker to replace our 92 Grumman/Spartan 1500 gallon engine/tanker.

BTW it is a 1968 Kaiser Jeep not a 74.

Thanks for correction, I always loved those little old work horses. They take a licking and keep on ticking!!! Thats what you need-a worker not a looker.
