I know it's not the best pic in the world, but it's hard to catch FF's at this particular station and I shot their "new" delivery, despite the impending deluge of rain.

I've tried to shoot this truck for years now, and I finally got it. NKFD plans to remount this tanker on a 1980's Mack Superliner chassis donated to them by a local concrete company.

I've never seen an E\-One minipumper body quite like this one. Look at the extra compartment between the cab and the pump panel.

This is another one of those famous trucks in the South that "came from up North somewhere." Can someone please provide a little more info as to where "Up North" this truck might have came from please? Thanks!!

These next two shots were just grab shots because they were parked in the parking lot as I drove by. The sun was already down for the day. I'll get them posed eventually.

Cary didn't run this rig as a heavy rescue, it was a City Service Truck Company, one of several that Cary has operated over the years. It carried truck company tools and a full complement of ground ladders.

Andrew Messer Photos - Andrew2340 - 06-29-2010

You're right Dave, it was a City Service truck in Cary. However, Parkway is using this truck as a Rescue truck. Their former Rescue truck, an FL70/3D is currently kinda/not really for sale. If they decide to keep it, the FL70/3D will become a specialty rescue or a reserve rescue at one of their substations if I remember correctly what the Chief told me.

CCRS plans to replace this unit next with something similar to 1934. They are hoping to replace it sometime this year.
