I for one don't think E\-One is finished yet in the firetruck business. Only had time for a quick shot. The 135' x-Ladder-1 is going up to Sta 10 on the northside of town. E-One Fire Apparatus - Guest - 09-19-2008 Gulfport's L-1 bucket. I will shoot it better in the next few weeks along with Biloxi's Quest pumpers. E-29 is the 1st new Engine Company added to the MFD since the 1970's. E-29 is quartered with R-29 and the newly reformed District 4. They are running out of 2 large FEMA Trailers and 2 Carports (Truckports?) A large muli-company station is going to be built near this site at the Southeast corner of the Mobile Reginal Airport) and Airport Blvd. E-One Fire Apparatus - Guest - 09-28-2008 Here it is running as E-6 when new. 1989 EOne cyclone 1250/500 E-One Fire Apparatus - Guest - 09-28-2008 MFRD E-29 using XE-33 (old E-9) 1987 EOne Cyclone 1000/500 Here is E-29 running out of a West Mobile Test site on Hitt Rd. before annexation. The site was moved over to Airport Blvd w of Dawes Rd (Its present location) E-One Fire Apparatus - Guest - 09-28-2008 Withe the exception of E's 22 and 12 and 2 other reserve pieces Mobile is running an all E\-One Fleet. We are one of the few cities that is still adding companies and stations. 30 and 31 depending on further annexation are planned in the next few years. |
