Here are some pic's I took today at my job we had ESU Truck 2 come to my campus for take our kids to work day. They did a great job showing the Equipment thay have to the kids.

The Special Operations Division of the NYPD held their annual memorial services today at their headquaters at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. In additional to a roll call of of those members of SOD who have died in the line of duty they also have several static displays and a air sea rescue demo.
First up is ESU's new haz mat vehicle built by Ferrara.

One of two new decontamination trailers operated by ESU. The tractor is several years old.

Interior shot of the decon trailer. Basically it consists of two corridors with 4 modules where people would enter from the rear, undress, go thru an intial shower then onto a soap and water shower, and a final rinse before re-dress. All the water is heated as is the interior.
