Tour of New Jersey - Backdrft17 - 03-13-2007

That is correct, however, Engine 6 is riding with E-18's rig because 18's firehouse at Ferry St and Central Ave is being renovated and Engine 6's truck is out of commission. Also Ladder 9 has a new rig sitting down at the shop, being set up with radios, it is similar if not exactly the same as Ladder 2. I will try to get some photos of it as soon as i see it

Looks like Jersey City has recenty changed the graphics and emblems for their rigs?

Here are some of my photos from Trenton.

Engine 1 use to run with a 1975 Maxim.

Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 03-16-2007

Engine 1 now has a 1993 KME 65 foot redi-tower.

Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 03-16-2007

Trenton Engine 2 had at one time this 1977 Pem Fab/FTI engine.

Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 03-16-2007

Engine 2 was closed a couple years back. When closed the last rig they had was a 1992 KME.

Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 03-16-2007

Engine 3 operated with this 1983 Hahn. It went to Reserve status (Resv Eng 3 in 1996) when the company got thier new unt... NEXT Photo

Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 03-16-2007

Engine 3's Current rig is a 1996 KME 65 foot Redi-Tower. This rig was delivered and getting equipt when it was PRESSED in to service for a 6 alarm fire. The off duty members of Engine 3 that were re-called staffed the engine so Trenton had all 4 ladders (3 Avtive - 1 reserve) and 3 Squrts (Engine 1, 10 and 3) operating along with a few volunteer units from outside the city at the fire.

Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 03-16-2007

Engine 5 was also closed down with Engine 2 and Ladder 3. When closed they company operated this 1991 KME engine.

Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 03-16-2007

Engien 7 operates with a 1995 KME engine. I should mention that all engines are 1000 gpm with 500 gallon tanks.
