During our Slickville visit in 2006, we obviously were not going to get this posed, so here is a inside shot of their 1918 Model T/?/?

Yeah, what he said <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I think my "good" picture of it is from 2003; it went to a private owner shortly after. Interesting that both Blairsville and Slickville never purchased aerials to replace them.

Slickville is also one of the few companies that have totally redone their fleet since I started taking pictures in 1998 (except for Tanker 59-2)...

Me thinks it is from North Franklin, Washington County, PA. Here it is outside the station taken on an early morning on my way to my guard unit.

Fritz,

Definetely North Franklins. I have the chiefs name and number if ya wanna go there. I'm not sure if they replaced that engine in 2006 with their newest Pierce or not though.

Keystone State Relics - Guest - 12-25-2009

Somerset was an exclusive American LaFrance fire company when it came to engines. In 1986, it was brought up to buy a new engine from ALF. However, that was when the Elmira facility was closed and all operations moved to Bluefield VA. After being told that by ALF, Somerset decided to purchase a Pierce Arrow. Since that time, Somerset has purchased all Pierces. They received their second or third Quantum recently.
