[/quote]That was DFC Ellis's pride, doing the Gold Leaf on all the new apparatus when it came into service. He's been retired for quite a few years now, but still lives over in Brighton Center and his son, Patrick, is the Captain of Tower Ladder 3.

Inside was hanging a BFD uniform jacket with 5 gold stripes on the sleeves, I don't believe I've ever seen the commissioner wear a BFD jacket but the chief has...I am assuming it's his unless someone in the know says otherwise
