once again Fdny fire houses - Truckman - 02-25-2009 No way were we in da Bronx then. Actually it was in Manhattan since we had just come over from the Coast Guard Base on Governors Island and stop by the house. I am thinking it was Engine 6 on Liberty St. and the Truck Co was about three or four doors down the street. The back of the station , kitchen and day room area, had a common way connecting the Engine and Truck quarters. This may have been another Engine Co. but 6 sticks in my mind as I was assigned to Engine 6 back in Richmond at the time. There were several businesses in between them. once again Fdny fire houses - Truckman - 02-25-2009 Ok, I think that I have found what I was looking for. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/computer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Still would love to see a photo showing Engine 6 and Truck 10 in the same or separate shot. Back in 1966-67, Engine 6 was located at 113 Liberty St. Truck 10 was located at 117 Liberty St. This was before the WTC. Engine 10 was at 73 Water St. When the city redeveloped that part of town, Engine 6 moved to Beekman with Engine 32, which was later disbanded and a new house was built for Engine 10 and Truck 10, where it is now at 124 Liberty St. This old house was separated by a business and had a common connection at both rear portions of Engine 6 and Truck 10, so the members could go to the others house without walking out on the street. once again Fdny fire houses - Guest - 03-02-2009 Squad Co. 18 once again Fdny fire houses - cml0774 - 03-02-2009 Any new progress shots of the rescues new house. once again Fdny fire houses - Guest - 03-03-2009 One of NYC's volunteer companies.
