Northshore Fire Protection District (a merger of several Lake County California fire departments). This station was once the Lucerne Fire Department if the engine rings a bell but the name doesn't (I know I've seen this engine posted under the old department name).

I believe their were three SCBA seats in the rear. I remember Central States offered a style like this in the early 1990's I have seen a few but not many. Thanks stay safe.
Which brings up another style that fits (and I'll edit the first post to reflect that). The extended cab which puts firefighters behind the front seat without doors of their own. Fairly rare but I think fully within the spirit of the thread.
I like your following post with the open seats behind the cab as well. Again well within my intent when starting this thread.

I thought this thread was a great idea, so I went through all 36 albums today and pulled out all the rigs that qualify. After my eyes stopped burning, I realized that I had pulled out almost 700 apparatus. Since I didn't want to "blow up" this thread, I sorted through them most of the afternoon and eliminated many rigs that were similar to others or were bad shots. I still have about 300 left, after keeping the best shots of the most interesting rigs from each manufacturer.
The biggest group are apparatus built on the Ford C Series chassis. I'll start off with those built by E\-One and work my way through all the builders I have represented in my collection.

When doing maintenance on the truck does the cab have any trouble clearing the enclosed pump? Looks a little tight.

this style of apparatus was popular throughout my neck of the woods, with Ford C a favorite chassis for builders. Vancouver had this 1971 Thibault 100' midmount aerial with a 200 GPM pump and 200 gallon water tank.

Vancouver had four of these Ford " Super Pumpers " built to replace a decommisioned fireboat and at the time of delivery, they had some of the largest pumps on board for apparatus of the time. This is one of four King Seagrave Ford C900 engines with 1500 Imperial GPM pumps with 300 gallon water tanks that covered the high value downtown area. E 4 was delivered in 1971.
