Thanks Kansas - MFD76 - 03-22-2010 [quote name='SLCPDEXPLORER' date='22 March 2010 - 01:24 AM' timestamp='1269237878' post='371690'] Hey Rick, do you have anymore info on this rig? One of our State Fire Marshal Inspector's is a retired Captain from AFD and he remembers them spec-ing the rig in 1978. I checked my book and I don't have the vin number. They were very proud of this rig it was a very cool pump a true classic. They have a Ford C-8000 Pierce Suburban runs as Engine 3. They purchased it as a Demo in 1983 and the guys wanted to trade it in 2002 and keep the MACK but the chief said the MACK had to go. AFD is a neat department. They currently have Two HME Smeal's E-1, E-4 a E\-One E-2, a C-8000 Pierce E-3, and the Pierce Arrow as T-1.
