Nope - both carry 1000 gallons of Protein foam, it mixes from 1% to 6% which is the heaviest application.
Mike, As I have indicated the three 1971 American LaFrance tractor drawn tiller aerials were bought and assigned to Truck 3 - 8 and 9. Later on Truck 7 ended up with on of these. I am thinking that it came from Truck 8 when they got the "Heniz 57" truck, a Continental on an International chassis with a 100 foot American LaFrance aerial.

Truck 2 never operated a American LaFrance Aerial.
Truckman and Mike,

Appreciate the serial numbers and assignments of Richmond's 1971 ALF tillers.

This is what this Truck looked like after being in a bad MVA after hitting a flat bed loaded with concrete pipe. Rig had to go back to the factory for repairs.

Richmond, Va - Truckman - 12-08-2006

This is the 1971 American LaFrance 100 foot aerial that was bought for Truck 8 and later went to Truck where it served out its life before being retired.

Richmond, Va - Truckman - 12-08-2006

This was the Truck that replaced to American LaFrance that went to Truck 7. It is an 1982 Continental, on an International chassis, with a 100 foot American LaFrance rebuilt aerial mounted on the rear.

In 1987 and 1988, I had the opportunity to visit Richmond on several weekends and photograph a good amount of the department.

I will post a sampling of some of the apparatus that has not yet been posted.

Engine 1's Wagon was a 1978 ALF 1500/500 with serial number CE 125786.

I like the dual warning lights on the roof.

Engine 6 is a 1977 ALF with 1250/500 and serial number CE-17-5898.

My records show this ALF was sold to Cool Branch, Virginia in approximately 2000.

Nice shots Mike.

Richmond, Va - mnsand - 12-08-2006

Richmond had a variety of mini pumpers at that time.

Attack 5 was a 1984 GMC/Grumman 400gpm. I don't have info on the water tank. Any of the Richmond folks know?

Grumman serial number 16917.

What I really enjoyed about the Richmond roster at that time was the variety of different apparatus manufacturers.

Truck 6 was a 1977 Seagrave PT20786 100' tiller.

Serial number G-76078

I recall this being one of my favorites during the trips.

Assigned as a reserve ladder truck - 1965 Duplex/Oren with a 1957 Pirsch 100'.

Oren serial number 2162 and I also have serial number H418, which I believe was the Pirsch ladder.

The Tactical Squad was running from Engine 6 during June of 1987.

1965 Duplex/Oren with a 1500/500. Sorry, no serial number.

The following year (1988), the Tactical Squad housed at Engine 6 had been assigned this 1977 Mack CF 1000/500 with serial number 1859. My notes show that this was old Engine 14 and had some rehab work done locally in 1987.

Another favorite of mine - Tanker 1.

1970 GMC/Oren 400/1500 with serial number 2881. It was housed with Engine 1 and Truck 2.

I believe that Richmond was running two tankers at that time.
