A station relocation study was released and has set the course for new station locations and replacing some stations.

Station 36 relocated to a new location on Cyrville Road, near the intersection of Innes Road. Pump 36 continues to run out of here. The former station 36 in Industrial no longer runs any active rigs, but is still home to the Training Centre. With the relocation of station 36, station 55 on Blair Road was also relocated.

As a result of the station relocation study, Station 55 was relocated to Portobello Drive in Orleans to improve protection in this rapidly growing area of the city. Pump 55 continues to be the only rig running from here.

Station 21 is located on Woodroffe Avenue at Baseline Road in the city's west end, and is home to Pump 21, Hazmat 21 and Hazmat Support 21.

Station 45 is located in the west end of the city and was formerly Kanata Station 2. This station is a composite station with 2 career members manning Support Unit 45, a Snuffer unit, and volunteers manning Tanker 45 and Squad 45. This station was identified in the station relocation study and will be relocating to a new location in 2021. At that time, the Support Unit will be replaced with a pumper with a full crew of 4 members.

Station 54 is located at 3080 Innes Road in the east end community of Blackburn Hamlet. This was former Gloucester Station 4 and training centre and apparatus maintenance. Station 54 also responds into the Orleans area, one of the fastest growing communities in the city. Station 54 is also home to the Air Management Division, and all SCBA are maintained here.  Pump 54, Ladder 54, Rehab 54 and Air Tender 54 respond from this station.

Station 52 is located at 6213 Jeanne D'Arc Boulevard in Orleans. This was formerly Gloucester Station 2. Pump 52 runs from here and is equipped with full heavy extrication equipment.

Its obvious I need to update some of my station photos! Station 11 is located downtown at 135 Preston Street at the corner of Somerset. This was former Ottawa Station 2. Station 11 is home to Pump 11A, Pump 11B, Tower 11, Water Rescue 11 and Car 10 which is the Central District Chief.

Station 13 is the busiest station in Ottawa, and at one time was the busiest in Canada. This station was formerly Ottawa Station 3. Station 13 is located in Sandy Hill, and also covers downtown and the famous Byward Market area, a huge entertainment and tourist area. Canada's famous Parliament Buildings (home to Canada's federal government) are also covered by Station 13. Pump 13A, Pump 13B and Ladder 13 call this station home.

Station 31 is located on Conroy Road and is home to Pump 31, Car 30 (southern District Chief) and a reserve ladder. Former Ottawa Station 14.

RE: Ottawa Fire Stations - ladder13 - 03-28-2020

Station 34 is former Ottawa Station 7 and is located on Brookfield Drive at Riverside Drive. Home to Pump 34 which carries full extrication equipment and a spare pumper is also kept here.

RE: Ottawa Fire Stations - ladder13 - 03-28-2020

Station 51 was former Ottawa Station 5, but was jokingly referred to as 55 due to the sign in front of the station! Pump 51, Tower 51 and Car 50 (Eastern District Chief) call Station 51 home. Located on Montreal Road, Station 51 is in the east end of the city and also covers the Vanier district, an area that provides a heavy fire load.

Station 57 is located on Beechwood Drive and covers the exclusive area of Rockliffe Park, but also has a large portion of Vanier and backs up station 13 in the Byward Market area. Pump 57 and Ladder 57 are assigned here. This station was formerly Ottawa Station 6.
