Ok, Alex! I'm jealous now! I didn't know North Palm had a new rescue. And this would be their first one in yellow. All the others were in their former Public Safety color of white with blue stripes. Nice job!

lol!! Me neither, they just took delivery of it last Wednesday. The guys are so happy to get out of those Fords.[Image: BananaMan.gif]

I shot Ladder-1 during the Winter Thaw last year, but here is a better shot.

Another new delivery, Riviera Beach R4, a 2009 International/Taylor Made.

Alex, weren't you with us when we shot those Martin County rigs earlier in the year? Great pictures you got! And I'd been wanting that Riviera rig for a while too but hadn't gotten it yet.

Mark, not for the Martin County rigs. If I remember correctly, it poored in Broward, so you guys went north.

Martin County Sta.33 is designated "Special Operations". Of the four rigs, we shot Special Ops-33 and Water Rescue-33.

The aerial was not in service. [Image: sad.gif]

here is Special Ops-33 a 1999 Pierce Saber.

FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-03-2009

Water Rescue-33 a 1996 Freightliner/Wheeled Coach was refurbed and converted for the Dive Team, all of the dive equipment that was stored on Special Ops-33 is now here.

Any idea why the hose bed is on the drivers side of the truck? Just wondering.

ecfr1978,

I didn't realize that, good point! Anyone?

FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-06-2009

1-3/4" speed lays behind the cab going vertical......2-1/2" deadlays on top of the pump panel about 300-400 feet and LDH supply line off the rear chute......I have the same type of setup on my ladder....the extra 2-1/2" helps with ISO credit and allows you you hit standpipes and things

That way they can lay their supply line right down the MIDDLE of the street!!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Banghead' />

So does this truck have two hose beds, one on each side of the truck?

FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-15-2009

New Delivery!!

Deerfield Beach Fire Rescue recently placed in service R102, a 2009 International/Wheeled Coach.

Although I'm not fan of the european style chevrons, she still stands sharp.

FLORIDA RIGS - Roto-Ray - 11-15-2009

I think Deerfield Beach is probably a fine department, but...wow...I thought that they ran a lot of graphics in the past! The Battenburg striping is a bit much in addition to everything else.
