Montgomery County MD - dawson_fire - 12-10-2007 I know Lexington park just ordered a Seagrave TDA,is Hollywood looking to buy a new TDA as well? Terry Montgomery County MD - Guest - 12-10-2007 Yes Hollywood is. We are looking to replace the Truck and Engine 72. Montgomery County MD - Guest - 12-12-2007 Hollywood buying Pierce, don't think so.... Montgomery County MD - dawson_fire - 12-13-2007 Here is a shot of each side, drivers side of 706 and officers side of 725,a little better than the last ones. Terry Montgomery County MD - dawson_fire - 12-13-2007 On the drivers side of the cab is this compartment which could be for EMS but I'm not sure because there are two compartments in the crew area. Terry Montgomery County MD - dawson_fire - 12-13-2007 Here is a shot of the "Fifth wheel" area with the ladder pipe connection and guage as well as the locking mechanism for making the tractor and the trailer rigid when the aerial is in use. Not sure if my terminology is correct? Terry Montgomery County MD - dawson_fire - 12-13-2007 Here is another shot of the front with a real Federal Q in the middle. You can just barely see the hook ups under the bumper for air hoses in case the truck has to be towed, that was a good thought. Terry Montgomery County MD - dawson_fire - 12-13-2007 A different shot of how close the monitor is when it is in the cradle position. Terry Montgomery County MD - dawson_fire - 12-13-2007 Here is another creature feature,a light shines where your jack plate will be placed as well as LED lighting in the rub rail which I think is new in these 2 trucks. Terry Montgomery County MD - Guest - 12-13-2007 Come on Lime Guy, What are you trying to say. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> They are looking at 4 vendors I believe so there is nothing set in stone as who Hollywood will go with for the purchase's or the Engine and Truck. Montgomery County MD - dawson_fire - 12-14-2007 They did have Pierce before. The E-1's seem to be working for them but their TDA's are huge so maybe that is why they are looking at other companies or it could just be to keep the bidding process even. Terry Montgomery County MD - Guest - 12-14-2007 Can you say Doug Insley????? Montgomery County MD - Guest - 12-14-2007 Ooooof, very true Lime Guy but the big talk around the station is Seagrave. To bad we can't get a E\-One Tractor and LTI everything else. That would be nice.
