FLORIDA RIGS - Mark V. Carr - 11-15-2009 They could have saved a few bucks on red paint if they'd just bought a few more stickers! But, I kinda like it. What do those words mean under the jumpseat window? Alex, I guess I need to add this one to my list of "must haves" for my next journey south. Great shots! FLORIDA RIGS - Roto-Ray - 11-15-2009 Mark, it's Latin (Ut Vivant Alii) which means "So Others May Live." FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-15-2009 Deerfield is rediculous with striping and graphics.....and the city constantly claims it has no money.... FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-15-2009 Well I am not sure what is worse, all the graphics or all the lights. I always say to each their own but come on. R-E-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S! FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-15-2009 Aside of the delivery, I decided to take better shots then what I had... Below is Deerfield Beach Platform-102, a 1997 E\-One 1500/300/95' former Tower-4. FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-15-2009 and my favorite!! Squad-102, a 2005 E\-One Typhoon Heavy Rescue. FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-16-2009 Tom, I agree with you 100%, I can't wait to see what's next... ![]() FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-17-2009 Below is a re-shot of Lighthouse Point L22, a 2008 Pierce Impel 1500/500/75'. ![]() FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-18-2009
New Delivery!! Deerfield Beach Fire Rescue recently placed in service R102, a 2009 International/Wheeled Coach. Although I'm not fan of the european style chevrons, she still stands sharp.
Apparently the chief looks at the lighting catalog and says "I'll have that"...."all of that"...."and toss in some of that Euro-Striping too"... Big Lots had a sale on lighting, again. FLORIDA RIGS - MFD76 - 11-18-2009
Well I am not sure what is worse, all the graphics or all the lights. When did Deerfield switch back to red from lime green? Stay Safe, Rick FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-18-2009
I agree that euro has got to go. The Battenburg will no doubt win the approval of the mavens at NFPA as will rolled hose, just a matter of time. You young ones make note of that, you'll see it. FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-18-2009 Battenburg has a time and a place (I think the green-and-lime police cars in the UK are pretty sharp) but I don't think that ambulance has quite got it. On another note, does anyone have more information about this truck? http://pafirefighter.net/Extreme/beast.asp I've searched this site high and low for it, but came up with nothing. Is it really 4800gpm? Thanks. FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-18-2009 I have it listed as a 3500 GPM Pump. FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-18-2009
I have it listed as a 3500 GPM Pump.
Thanks Shoop. I thought 4800 was a little big for a truck like that. FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-19-2009 New Delivery!! Tom, I know you've been waiting a while, this one is for you. Fort Lauderdale Tower-2 is a 2009 Pierce Velocity 1500/300/95' In addition, I'll start posting shots of dept. logos, company logos, unique ladder boards etc. FLORIDA RIGS - Guest - 11-20-2009 New Delivery!! Passing it's final inspection, below is Fort Lauderdale E13, a 2009 Spartan Gladiator/Rosenbauer 1500/750. FLORIDA RIGS - srq2009 - 11-20-2009 Tower 2 looks awesome!! Any more shots to show??
Alex, I got lucky yesterday... according to my source the PD's parking is full, therefor they've been using the parking lot next to Station-53/88 for the overflow of equipment, both TWR2 and E13 were there and almost perfectly posed in sunlight. I plan to return today for better shots. Anything specific you'd like to see? FLORIDA RIGS - srq2009 - 11-20-2009 Not really, just excited! I'm waiting for Tampa to try the Velocity chassis... |
