They have a large warehouse containing about 25 rigs. We didn't shoot anything inside, but got plenty of info. Actually, I already had pics of quite a few of them. This one rig was sitting outside. If anyone can fill in the question marks, please do. The weather was not the best, got worse then better, and we never made to Savannah that day. We managed to shoot about 30-35 rigs that day in between the showers. Engine 1, Ridgeland, SC 2005 Pierce Contender 1250/1000 #6847838 (I hate contender numbers! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> )
the job # is on the yellow sticker attached to the engine tunnel by the drivers seat. on this sticker there is both the job number and the work order number(which is what the 6847838 number is). the work order number is the one that appears on the pump panel plate on Contenders. I was at the Bradenton factory yesterday and shot 6 beautiful rigs, all contenders. This & That from Here & There - GA_Dave - 09-26-2008 Sorry, Mike, not a Mack, ALF, or Seagrave in the entire place! Most of what he had was E\-One or Pierce along with a Grumman and a couple Hahns. I was at the Bradenton factory yesterday and shot 6 beautiful rigs, all contenders. Not always. I've run across quite a few Contenders, both custom and commercial, that only have the WO number, like this rig. I always check the yellow sticker first. It's also where the date of manufacture is located. This & That from Here & There - jkumb - 09-26-2008
Not always.
