With both engines, their booster tank capacity increased to 2,000 gallons of water. Something they wanted due to the fact that they cover alot of state route 56, and also some of the rural areas of the city where hydrants are not as close together.
Great job on the photos Pat, I have to tell you. Good thing you had the weather you did on Sunday. Today it is cold and snowing. A cold day for an open cab ride. No. Turkey baster is still there
Thank you Rob. I asked cuz the paint scheme on 69-3 is different than 69-1 obviously. And when I first looked at that E\-One w/ the big raised roof and the windows, I thought that looks like an O.W.L. engine. PHOTOS BY EMS 12 (PAT SHOOP) - e290l103 - 04-07-2009 where did the 82 MC end up going? Lower Burrell #3 liked the Dash alot and decided to replace the 1982 MC Mack with a Contender. PHOTOS BY EMS 12 (PAT SHOOP) - Guest - 04-07-2009 Engine 3 is black over red because they wanted to tell the differance of which engine was approching or there. The MC went out of the country but im not exactly sure where. I want to say one of the islands just out of the country. Turkey baster is "truck 54" which is an AARF grade snozzel mounted on an engine. Im sure someone has a picture of it. L.B. 3 then used a broker and it went to the Dominican Republic. Back in about 1997-1998, they sent the MC to 4-Guys and painted it to match the refurb of the CF. It also received a scotchlite stripe and new lights. Hope that helps. PHOTOS BY EMS 12 (PAT SHOOP) - e290l103 - 04-07-2009 yes, thanks!
