It is a photo of Engine 30 being prepared for the services of Fire Fighters Cahill and Payne later this week. If this offends anyone please notify a admin. and ask them to remove it.

RIP Fire Fighters Cahill and Payne.[/quote]

That may be what they're doing to it now, but that rig has been down there for a few weeks having work done on it. Both Engine 30 & Ladder 25 have been running spares for awhile now.

Sadly they are getting it ready for the services because they actually had a casket on the hose bed and makeing sure the tiedowns work.

Engine 5's Mack was kept at E 10's house(The Bay Next to the Div Chief) after it was first restored...by the relief... now it's down the shops ...The former E 54 Ward was at the Boston Fire Museum up until.. the "Sparks" got the "Water Witch" LaFrance.

Thank you, that finally answers my question that i was asking previously!

BTW: Was just watching the movie "Mystic River", and in the last scene of the movie, the old E-5 Mack is shown in a parade.

Like the Crown on the front bumper, anything on the stick like their old rigs?

I think they added "King of the Hill" or "Kings of the Hill" to the stick, they also have the company's original name and date of annexation on the mid-cab window
