Malden, MA Engine2s Mack CF. This was taken last year at a junkyard in Revere, MA. The junkyard has since closed. The guy used to get old FDNY rigs as well. At one point he had the 1985 Seagrave RMA that was used as 'Ladder 100" in Third Watch. He cuts them up for the motors.

Doug, I see another firetruck to the right of that Maxim F-model up there. What was that?

Relics - Citywide 231 - 04-19-2007

That is Holyoke's 1964 Pirsch pumper. I guess this guy has a lot of fire engines, he owns several junkyards, this one that these trucks are in is huge.

Here's one that will make Mike Sanders wince a little! Originally from McLean, VA.,this 1956 Pirsch 750/400 engine was sold to Landover Hills,MD., sometime in the 1970's. Unfortunately, by the time of this photo in 1977, it had been wrecked, and sat awaiting disposal.

This story may give a hint about the Englewood City rig...

Where are those Robert? Myself, Mark & Dave were through there just a few weeks ago and never saw them.

Here's the cool relic I mentioned in my Recent Trips 3 thread. This was sitting alongside Highway 276 near Cruso, NC. It was a first for me, the first Buffalo I've ever shot!!! I was pretty excited. Now I desperately need all you apparatus experts to help me ID the rig!

Here is a fire truck cemetery. Northern Fire Apparatus in Watertown NY has this boneyard for parts, etc.

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

Here is some stuff from the above graveyard.

Dolgeville NY ran this ALF Jox as Truck 405. Previous to Dolgeville, it ran as Truck 1 in Utica NY for 30 plus years.

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

Not much remains of this pumper from Syracuse NY.

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

Even less of this one still remains. I think the rest of this truck now has an ALF cab and serves in Frankfort Center NY.

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

The rest of this Baldwinsville NY pumper also has an ALF cab and serves Frankfort Center NY.

This "Ladder 1" had no visible markings of any department, but unlike most of the relics in this field, it did have a manufacturers plate on it. This is Seagrave P-5955. Can anyone help?

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

FDNY was well represented in this field. A very worn out Seagrave ladder truck. The "SL" number was not readable.

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

SL8107.

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

One more FDNY ladder.

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

Here is what remains of Boston Rescue 2.

Relics - John Kenealy - 04-29-2007

Finally, a once proud Mack CF from North Greece NY now serves as a "trash rescue" truck.
