Apparently when purchased, their fire station had low clearance, so well before the addition of the Whelen strobe light bar, it was equipped with a four beam Federal beacon which was mounted on a bracket just below the roof line. If you look at the front of the cab, under the center clearance/marker light, you can still see where the bracket was attached to the cab roof. Always liked this rig. Thanks.
