For some reason Glen Dales' rigs always peaked my interest. Maybe it's the Black over Yellow paint scheme. It looks pretty neat.

Just you wait, somebody at the Pierce marketing dept might design a new advertisement for this "Super PUC".

Damn Tim, I love the York County PUC. Would have loved to see one of those with a Velocity or Arrow XT chassis but damn nice rig. I think I saw on the Singer website that they are calling it the Mega PUC?

Damn can you imagine how one of those would look on a Dash chassis.....I miss the Dash.

Oh, my next trip to DC will be Oct 3 - 12, I will let you know as it gets closer.

Damn, that is in my neck of the woods, I know I might have to brave a few Green Bay packer fan types but to shoot a Mega PUC on a Velocity close to me, I will brave the "cheese heads."

DCFDTech,

the 70 Mack Mid-Mount that we sold to Boonsboro is now in James Island SC. They ran it front line for awhile and it is now a reserve. It is still painted our colors of black/gold/white. Hopefully when they retire it she will come back to Riverdale!

How about on the BIG Lance chassis, it would probably have to bend in the middle!

That would be something to see but my favorite is still the Dash.

Here's Centreville,Va.'s 2002 Pierce Lance 1250/750 job# F-4351.I think this is the parts of a Javelin that Pierce rebuilt for them.

The Aberdeen Proving Ground is running this 2008 Pierce Arrow 1500/500(?) 105'- job# 20378. This is not an XT model but rather the older model which I suspect has the drive line from their old Pierce Arrow in the new truck.

From a far distance it appears to be a new truck with the new grill, raised roof and the body having fresh paint. Interesting refurb Pierce did here.

Terry; Are you sure of the job number? 20378 is assigned to a Saber Long Body Pumper for Jacinto, TX.

JFong; It is a new rig, EXCEPT for the Engine and Transmission. Those items where taken from an older rig and reused.
