That's their paint scheme, and I've never seen it anywhere else before. Ford C Series Chassis Fire Apparatus - GA_Dave - 04-18-2007 Quote:Can anyone say for sure if this one came from Schooleys Mountain NJ? That's their paint scheme, and I've never seen it anywhere else before. Nope, it came from Glenwood, NC (see post #631). All of Glenwood's apparatus are in this scheme. As I recall, Schooley's Mountain rigs have yellow cab doors too. Ford C Series Chassis Fire Apparatus - Andrew2340 - 04-18-2007 It formerly served Glenwood, NC as "Engine 443." It was their first new fire truck when ordered back in 1969. Half of the board of directors wanted a Yellow fire engine, the other half wanted a Red fire engine. Finally they came to a compromise, making this unusual paint scheme I like to call "Mustard & Ketchup" <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Ford C Series Chassis Fire Apparatus - Guest - 04-18-2007 Thanks guys for the clarification. Now that you mention Dave I'm pretty sure you're right.
