Just a thought [/quote] just to add my two cents and if im wrong now i am sorry in advance. there was a company that rented apparatus to movie companies. a mid 70's Seagrave was purchased from that company and has been lettered for memphis tn it can be viewed in members thread. ok enough with that, but what i remember reading on here was that the same company purchased a 4 door Seagrave that was from montgomery county md and it kinda resembles that engine, montgomery county ran a few of thoses as well as prince george's county. again sorry for butting in and if im wrong i apologise in advance. [/quote] There's quite a few inches of room between the ladder and the door, The middle bay of the station was raised when Station 101 was renovated, That's as low as the bumper comes tot he ground when the truck leaves the station.
