It has a 1750 gpm-pump and carries 500 gallons of water, 12 gallons of A-, and 50 gallons of B-foam. It has a 1500 gpm-pump and a 1500 gallon-tank. It was originally in service in Elk Grove/PA. By 1988 it was sitting outside under a tarp when Wayne Mayo of Glenside drove by and saw it. He made an offer a week later for $2,000 and it was accepted. Wayne restored it and named it Fellwick Fire Association (named after a local train station). 1928 American LaFrance, open cab, Type 17-6, reg. no. 6460, shipped 10/12/28, tillered 75 ft two section wooden ladder, housed on 11/25/28 at a cost of $15,750. The original tractor was destroyed in an accident in 1931 on the inter-county bridge. Sold in 1968, in 1993 owned by Frederick Pommer-Oxford, CT. 1931 GMC tractor, open cab, purchased from Horn's of Columbia, used to pull the 1928 tiller-trailer. 1948 Dodge/Oren, semi-cab, high pressure fog, 400/500. Chassis was purchased from Rice & Wentz of Columbia, Hardie LCXA high pressure fog pump, equipped with rear fender skirts, delivered 3/48 at a cost of $48,500. A generator and flood lights were added at a later date. Sold in 1968.
