This unit went into service in February, 2018, and replaces a 2005 Pierce Saber 1500-1500 (Pierce Job # 16639) which is now a reserve.

This unit went into service June 1, 2018, and replaces a 2000 E\-One 1500-750 (E\-One SO# 123627, Shop # 6618) which was traded in.
This engine sports the department's new dark blue over red color scheme.
