What exactly is a Demand Unit? Fully Stocked units put in service during peak times? I've seen Ambos and Dodge Sprinters? Lettered as such.

The white 450 is either support 2 or DC 11 utilized for special events and to tow the gators or Polaris. We have different tiers of demand units. DM1 and DM3 are staffed every day during peak hours. The sprinters ,D10-13, are utilized for special events or pub Ed. DM2-DM9 are utilized if we have extra staff or for deployments as well as special events. The Tahoes are for Division Chiefs and higher.
