Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Per request, here's a couple of shots of Carlstadt's tower when it was new at Wildwood. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Scanned a few more from my prints collection. Here's Dumont, NJ Engine 5's KME. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 East Rutherford's Sutphen tower. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 A little farther away from it all is West Milford Fire Co. No. 6 and their slime E\-One. Greeenwood Forest Co. No. 3 runs a rig of similar vintage. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Here's one for FL_Jack! Fanwood Engine 8, a 2001 HME/Smeal engine. Fanwood recently took delivery of an HME/Smeal 75ft rearmount quint in matching livery. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Mountainside, also of Union County, runs this unique Spartan/General Safety as their rescue engine. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Little Ferry Engine 306 was posted a few pages ago, here's its station mate, a 1994 Seagrave that runs as Engine 309. This photo was taken at a NJ/NY Firemen's Association parade of which Little Ferry was the host department. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 The New Point Comfort Fire Company of Keansburg, NJ runs this sweet, sweet 1998 E\-One Hush. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 The Community Fire Company No. 1 of Wayne, NJ runs this E\-One engine. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Here is Community's Hahn engine at one of its last wetdown appearances in Fair Lawn... I think this truck is out of service now. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 The Pequannock Fire Department of Pequannock Township runs this gorgeous Simon-Duplex/Saulsbury engine. This picture doesn't do it justice, unfortunately. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Wanaque Borough of Passaic County runs two similar HME/Smeals: one with a 10-man cab and non-raised roof, and one with a raised roof and an 8-Man cab. Here is the latter at the dual wetdown. Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 05-13-2007 Jimmy that Carlstadt beast is HUGE! I'd love to see that screaming down Route 72 one day! I bet traffic would RESPECT this monster! Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Going further south again (I'm all over the place with some of these, I'm trying to pull out ones I haven't scanned in a while) is Roselle Park's Pierce Dash engine shown arriving at Scotch Plains' wetdown. Note Hopelawn Engine 8's crew on the right. Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-13-2007 Lincoln Park Hose Co. No. 1 (Route 202 firehouse) runs this huuuuge Pierce Lance as Engine 103. (Another where the photo is subpar, sorry) Tour of New Jersey - Guest - 05-13-2007 Thanks Jimmy. I have to take a trip north to get some shots of the ladder. FLJack. Tour of New Jersey - GA_Dave - 05-13-2007 Quote:Here is Community's Hahn engine at one of its last wetdown appearances in Fair Lawn... I think this truck is out of service now. First off, that's not a Hahn, it's a Sutphen. I shot this rig at Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus in Alabama several months ago. I think they sold it to South America.
