I heard that this rig is at o'hare, dunno how true that is with the rig being red over black and no o'hare markings. nice shots as always by the way.

Nevermind, what I saw was a prototype, being built as proof of concept.

I agree--great pics! If I were a betting man, I'd bet Crimson gets it. There was a Spartan Gladiator cab in production at the Spartan plant this week (I know, lots were in production). The Spartan rep giving the tour didn't make a big deal out of it, and I'm not posting photos, but Crimson was listed as the customer, not Chicago. Funny thing, it was black over red, had the CFD logos embroidered into the seats, and had a flat room (non raised) with a slight roof cut wide enough for the bed section of a ladder. Hmmm.
I know, I know - Pierce could be doing the same thing. And ALF built some rigs for Chicago on speculation that never ended up there...
