On 4/29/02 while at a drill, caught fire in the cab area, extinguished with little damage. Returned to service in 05/02. Replaced in 2010, sold to Command Fire Apparatus of Lancaster who sold it in 09/2010 to Spivey’s Corner FD of Dunn (Sampson County, NC). Just some fyi, Blue Ridge is also getting a E\-One 95' tower similar to Hendersonville's and a 3000 gallon Progress vaccum tanker. Should be leaving this coming week. This truck was in mint condition. I hope that it will serve them well. |
