Fairfax County VA - Guest - 11-29-2009 Reserve rescue Fairfax County VA - Guest - 11-29-2009 ladder Fairfax County VA - Guest - 11-29-2009 2nd ladder. Where I come from these trucks would have another 10 years before getting replaced. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 11-29-2009 Last one for me, reserve engine. Hope you all enjoyed them. I'm sure someone that knows the shop numbers could tell us what these reserves once were. Fairfax County VA - Fire28 - 11-29-2009 Can anyone tell me whose 03 Dash is the one marked with shop# 7012? Fairfax County VA - mnsand - 11-29-2009
Can anyone tell me whose 03 Dash is the one marked with shop# 7012?
Tim, 7012 from Fairfax County was originally Truck 425 in Reston. Mike Sanders Winchester, VA Fairfax County VA - Guest - 11-29-2009 Some atypical apparatus shots I took. Fairfax County VA - Fire28 - 11-29-2009 Ok Thx. Do you happen to have the shop number for 429's 03 Dash? Fairfax County VA - davemcclung - 11-29-2009
Ok Thx. Do you happen to have the shop number for 429's 03 Dash?
Shop number 7041 for the 03 Dash from L429 which is now in reserve. Mike beat me to 7012, I had to look it up, I know 7011 was the 03 at Truck 411. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 11-29-2009
If you have issues with lackluster attitudes from the officer in charge of a unit or station to have a rig moved for you, PM me with all the details. I have the ear of the Fairfax County FRD B-shift command staff. I am a station commander and would never tolerate such inhospitable behavior by my junior officers or anybody under my command. In fact, I have invited visiting buffs to stay for dinner and the like. I regret to hear that some people who call themselves officers in the Fire and Rescue Department acted in such a rude manner towards any of you.
That is SUPER of you. Quite a few others would say..."So...Get over it!" Fairfax County VA - stokess - 11-29-2009 Yep, E413 and REHAB413 are both in service - I'll be at the paying job during daylight but around at night driving the gut bucket but knowing who's working if they are not busy they should have no problem pulling them out on the ramp for ya.
Chief, Its possible I might be in fairfax tuesday. Is The new eng available to be moved for photos? Also can that massive rehab thing be moved yet?
Fairfax County VA - Roto-Ray - 11-29-2009 Interestingly, FS405 is the only place in Fairfax where I have had the men refuse to move the rigs. That was many, many years ago, and I am sure most of the faces at the station have changed since that time. The guys at 439, 427, 416, and 437 have always been most helpful! Thanks for the additions to the thread, guys. Fairfax County VA - Fire28 - 12-01-2009 Shoop, Rheems1, and myself went out to Fairfax today. Here's a couple we got. New Hazmat Support Unit 440. Apparently we missed Mike Sanders by about 30 seconds. Fairfax County VA - Fire28 - 12-01-2009 Tanker 442 partially re lettered for Tanker 439. Fairfax County VA - Fire28 - 12-01-2009 And lastly the new Rescue 426. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 12-01-2009 So you saved the good stuff till I left huh? I see how it is <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
No the new stuff was at the shop and you knew that! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Fairfax County VA - davemcclung - 12-02-2009
No the new stuff was at the shop and you knew that! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
LOL at first I thought I read the comment as the "good stuff" not the new stuff. I was going to be sarcastic and say that the good stuff is located in Alexandria and the Airports.... ;-) Fairfax County VA - SrFireOfficial - 12-02-2009 <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/lol.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol2:' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/lol.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol2:' />
Shop number 7041 for the 03 Dash from L429 which is now in reserve.
