[/quote] Yes sir, Chief! And it is indeed what it says it is, a Mobile Command Post, one of the "smaller" ones at that. They do have marked and unmarked bread trucks/step vans which is why I was looking for the picture. The Command Posts are all marked pretty clearly as such. There are some marked trucks which may have nothing more than just the vehicle number and command abbreviation which would be a clue as to what it is used for/who it's assigned to. As usual a great time with SOD units putting on demos for those attending. A few 'new' restored NYPD cars showed up. Trucks were not set up well for photos, but I did try to get some. Note that the vehicle number now has the year of the rig in smaller numbers as part of the fleet ID. Anyone know how many 2008 REPS they did receive in total? |
