On the front of the truck say "Fresh Air and Sunshine". This is their air unit and it also carries a bunch of additional equipment not carried on the engines, rescue or their quint the last I knew.

i dunno....but for what ever reason......that Sandy Hook Ford just hits me as just plain SWEEEET!!! and as for Fresh Air and Sunshine.....this is the very first time i have ever seen Nichols 304. our Hahns kept losing out to Nichols 302 at EVERY state convention!!

This particular truck saw front-line service well into the 1980's. Vivid memories riding the tailboard after St. Patricks Day parade in New Haven and complete strangers handing us beers....Good times. I belive this truck is in the process of being restored
