Unknown photographer. Hey, What builder was the first to offer a chassis like the Lance? (Engine forward, short extension rearward where 1st jumpseat is, then door then a 2nd row jumpseats) This configuration full size with 4 door & 2nd row of seats is my favorite. The cab can be ordered slightly shorter, but there is no leg room in the jump seats. Seagrave delivery photo [/quote]it's not from scranton,pa scranton only had 1 Seagrave engine it was a 1943 and they had a 1943 Seagrave tiller the only engines scranton purchased in the 1930's were mack's they were delivered in 1935.
