The area around me seems to be void and lifeless. Yet I see quail, lizards, and bugs who survive in perfect harmony with their world. I long to be in such perfect harmony. My skies dark and blue, my hills rich with color. To quinch my thirst, and satisfy my need for happiness. For now though, I'll just lean back and be part of this desert.
