This engine was originally bought by the City of Connellsville, Fayette County, PA. It is a 1974 CF. it was the very last CF made and was sold to Dunbar, also in Fayette County. It has been sold to a collector.

Yes I am Rpaterson, I live in New Kensington, PA. I am a firefighter in our city for the past 23 years and am a big Mack buff. I have spent alot of time in Pittsburgh. I haven't been to the muster in the past 6 years due to my attending the NASCAR race in Michigan. I plan on attending the muster in 2009. Maybe in the meantime we can get together. I have some ties to local #1. You are a great bunch of guys. You are truly the best. I mean that.

Maybe the last open cab CF made, but FAR from the last one made overall.

Mack Fire Apparatus - Guest - 11-18-2008

cause the very last CF ever made by the mack plant, the last CF complete fire truck, chassis and body made in Macungie PA in 1984, is this 1984 CF built for the Westbury New York FD and proudly owned by yours truly, and kept in Lancaster PA.
